Czechia – Intercity railway works – Optimalizace a elektrizace trati České Velenice (mimo) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (mimo) – Infrastruktura

The subject of this contract is the construction of the „Optimisation and Electrification of the České Velenice (outside) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (outside) – Infrastructure“ project. The investment action „Optimisation and Electrification of the České Velenice (outside) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (outside)“ aims to completely reconstruct and electrify the track section České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí, which will increase track speed and improve the safety of rail and road traffic and further minimise the costs of operating ŽDC. Another goal of the construction is to optimise the scope of the infrastructure. This involves the reconstruction of the superstructure (rails, turnouts) and the railway substructure, culverts and bridges. New platforms 550 mm above TK will be built, as well as TV (AC 25kV 50 Hz system), NN and VN power supply, new communication (cabling, radio, DŘT, ...) and safety equipment. The investment action is divided into a total of three separate contracts – Infrastructure, Energy and Safety Equipment, which form a functional unit.
