Germany – Installation work of refrigeration equipment – Projekt Erweiterung eines Bürogebäudes im Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst Technische Ausrüstung Gebäude – Luft- und Kältetechnik

The contracting authority (hereinafter: CA) is tendering the services of Technical Equipment Building – Air Conditioning and Refrigeration for the expansion of a new office building in the Frankfurt-Höchst industrial park as part of a subsidised measure. A detailed project description and the corresponding scope of services can be found in the schedule of services with the corresponding attachments (part of the attachments set 03). Bidders are strongly advised to familiarise themselves with the local conditions and the work to be carried out by means of a site visit before submitting their bid, in order to avoid misjudgements in pricing. If the successful bidder subsequently refers to circumstances that would have been apparent during a site visit, it will be estopped from making such a submission. Registration for a corresponding site visit is via the messaging function of the tendering portal. For further details on the site visit, see the explanations in the schedule of services (part of the attachments set 03). The performance period for the services tendered here is expected to be between the end of October 2026 and the beginning of July 2027. The expected start of execution is 26.10.2026. Completion must be by 04.07.2027 (final completion date). The execution/mounting documents to be prepared by the contractor must be prepared no later than 3 weeks after the award and submitted to the contracting authority by email and twice on paper in checked form. WARNING: In terms of scheduling, the requirements from the master schedule provided by the contracting authority (part of the attachments set 03) must be strictly observed. You are kindly invited to submit a bid on the basis of this invitation and the tendering/contractual conditions attached to this letter. Please use the enclosed form sheets for this purpose. The following is noted with regard to the basis of the bid: The exact scope of services is derived from the schedule of services with the corresponding attachments (part of the attachments set 03). The qualities mentioned in the schedule of services as the basis of the current planning content are to be understood as minimum requirements. Contractual details can be found in the Special Contractual Conditions (BVB – Unit Price Contract - Annex 04). The contractor will be obliged to take out a construction performance insurance at its own expense. The insurance certificate must be submitted to the CA by the start of construction (see § 14 Abs. 1 of the BVB – Unit Price Contract - Annex 04). The successful bidder will be asked to submit the corresponding cost estimate to the CA before the actual award. The forms VHB Bund 221 "Price determination in award calculation" and 222 "Price determination of the final sum" may be requested by the tendering entity as part of the bid examination. The aforementioned forms do not need to be submitted with the bid.
