France – Paper, printing and bookbinding machinery and parts – CONCEPTION ET FOURNITURE D’UN SYSTÈME D’IMPRESSION JET D’ENCRE POUR INTÉGRATION SUR UNE PRESSE D’IMPRESSION FIDUCIAIRE DE LA BANQUE DE FRANCE

This contract is being retendered following a declaration without follow-up due to a reason of general interest related to the evolution of the need. This project concerns the production of an inkjet printing bar and its integration into a banknote printing press for the manufacture of Banque de France banknotes. This project concerns the supply, installation and commissioning of the Equipment. It aims to: • Produce a full-sheet inkjet printing system capable of printing security inks at standard speeds in the field of banknotes. • Integrate this system into an existing banknote printing machine. • Carry out tests after commissioning the system and ensure the training of Banque de France agents. This contract consists of one (1) firm lot, two (2) Eventual Additional Services (EAS) and three (3) optional lots: Under the firm lot, the Contractor must supply an inkjet printing equipment. Under Eventual Additional Service (EAS) 1, the Contractor must provide a quotation for the integration of the inkjet printing equipment on a banknote printing machine. Under Eventual Additional Service (EAS) 2, the Contractor must provide a quotation for the integration of the inkjet printing equipment on an alternative banknote printing machine. Under optional lot 1, the Contractor must provide preventive maintenance services as well as a list of consumables required for the inkjet printing equipment. Under optional lot 2, the Contractor must provide a quotation for the relocation of the equipment as part of the Banque de France Refoundation project. Under optional lot 3, the Contractor must provide a quotation for the supply and implementation of a second printing bar on a banknote printing machine.
