Germany – Belt-type continuous-action elevators or conveyors – Planung und Ausführung einer Bandanlage mit vorgeschaltetem Brecher u.T. (BavB)
Description
The Federal Company for Repository Management (BGE) plans to use a conveyor system in the underground area of the Konrad mine's shaft plant as part of the construction activities for the repository for low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste. The task of the conveyor system is to ensure the transport of the material (Haufwerk) produced in the former iron ore mine in individual sections (these are the underground routes). The scope of services to be provided by the future contractor will include the planning, manufacture, assembly, and commissioning (incl. personnel training) of the conveyor system. In addition, it is intended to commission the contractor with the maintenance and servicing of the conveyor system. After completion, the conveyor system is to transport up to 1,000 t of Konrad material per day over a length of several hundred meters at a depth of between 700 m and 1,000 m. The transports take place within individually determined "transport windows" and are therefore discontinuous. The material is usually to be loaded onto the conveyor system by a loader; the discharge of the material from the conveyor system is to be into a bunker or an alternative transfer point. Due to the mining conditions (road widths, tunnel heights, and tunnel layout) and the traffic and development situation underground, it is to be expected that the conveyor belt(s) (at least in parts) will have to be suspended and designed to be flexible so that curves can also be enabled. The conveyor system is to be designed to be as low-wear as possible, and unacceptable emissions (e.g. noise, dust) are to be prevented in an appropriate manner. Due to some official requirements and BGE-internal specifications, various checkpoints are to be taken into account during the project implementation. These include, for example, specifications for planning and manufacturing services (e.g. construction-side releases of planning and manufacturing documents) as well as specifications derived from mining law, which are to be observed in the context of on-site activities (assembly and commissioning). In addition, the client expects that a well-functioning project management will be established at the contractor's end to ensure the contractually agreed services, and that the client will be comprehensively and regularly informed about the project progress. The service was already published under the Elvis ID: E77575815 (Notice number in the Official Journal 2022/S 223-641543). This procedure was cancelled.
