Czechia – Construction work for highways, roads – I/55 Břeclav, obchvat

The subject of the project is the removal of traffic problems arising from the location of the affected exposed road I. category in the built-up area of the city of Břeclav, including the connecting section of the road I/40 leading through the local part of Poštorná. The technical parameters of the through sections of these I. category roads do not meet the requirements for safe, smooth and capacitive transfer of increasing traffic intensities of transit traffic from the motorway D2 towards the state border CZ/Austria. To reduce the negative impacts of traffic on the living environment of the built-up area, it is proposed to route them outside the built-up area, predominantly along agriculturally managed areas.
