The subject of the procurement are cleaning machines and maintenance and repair services for cleaning machines. The procurement is divided into five (5) sub-lots as follows: Sub-lot 1) Vacuum cleaners and pressure washing equipment Sub-lot 2) Washing machines and drying drums intended for washing cleaning textiles Sub-lot 3) Combination machines Sub-lot 4) Robotic vacuum cleaners Sub-lot 5) Maintenance and repair services for cleaning machines

The subject of the procurement for sub-lots 1-4 are cleaning machines suitable for professional use in the cleaning sector, delivered according to the terms of TOP Finnterms 2001 to the purchasers' delivery locations in the South Karelia region. The objective of the procurement of cleaning machines is to obtain machines suitable for professional use, of high quality, and delivered with good operational reliability and service. The cleaning machines must comply with the directly applicable regulations of the European Union, Finnish laws and regulations, and instructions issued by authorities, including those relating to structure, equipment, occupational and fire safety, and electrical safety.

The subject of the procurement for sub-lot 5 is the provision of maintenance and repair services for machines (vacuum cleaners, pressure washing equipment, combination machines and floor care machines) used in institutional cleaning to the purchasers in the South Karelia region. Maintenance and repair services are primarily carried out during weekdays between 7.00-16.00. Repair service means repair work ordered separately by the purchaser related to the operability or condition of the machines. Maintenance service means maintenance measures for the machines, such as annual maintenance or scheduled maintenance carried out according to the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions. The maintenance and repair services to be procured in sub-lot 5 do not include maintenance and repair services during the warranty period of the cleaning machines.

For sub-lots 1, 2 and 4, one (1) contract supplier will be selected for the framework agreement. For sub-lots 3 and 5, two (2) contract suppliers will be selected for the framework agreement, unless there are fewer acceptable suppliers. The bidder may submit a bid for one or more sub-lots. Partial bids within the sub-lots will not be accepted. The target start date for the contract period for the procurement of cleaning machines and maintenance and repair services for cleaning machines is 01.11.2026 and the target end date is 31.10.2028. The purchasing unit also reserves the right, if it so wishes, to extend the contracts by two one-year (12 months) option periods (1+1). The quantities to be procured as stated in the invitation to tender are the purchasers' estimate of the annual requirement. The purchasers are not bound by the quantities estimated in the invitation to tender, but goods and/or services are procured as needed.
