Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – BLB NRW Köln/ Universität Bonn / Neubau Molekulare Biologie (ImBIG) -Brandschutzkonzept und Fachbauleitung

The contract is for the design of the fire safety concept (fire safety planning) and the fire safety site supervision for the new construction of the Institute for Molecular Biology (ImBIG) at the Poppelsdorf Campus of the University of Bonn. The four-storey laboratory building, which will include S1 and S2 laboratories, will be constructed using a timber-hybrid method with four fire compartment cores as required stairwells. The services required include the creation of a fire safety concept, fire safety consulting for all design phases, and site supervision during construction (construction start 07/2030, completion 06/2034).
