Spain – Repair and maintenance services of measuring, testing and checking apparatus – Servicio de apoyo a la calibración de equipos de medida

The Technical Exploitation Division of the Air Navigation System and, more specifically, the Integrated Logistics Support Department (SLIN) is responsible, within ENAIRE, for the centralized management of the measuring equipment necessary to carry out the calibrations and tests of the various equipment and systems that provide Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services and Air Navigation System (SNA) Automation. The Air Navigation Calibration Laboratory, dependent on the Integrated Logistics Support Department, handles this process, carrying out the calibration of some of the equipment with its own means, and supervising and managing the calibration of the rest of the equipment that makes up the park at any given time. The contracted services must allow the quality levels provided to the various client organizations (internal and external) of ENAIRE to be maintained. In case of doubt about the metrological services being provided by the awarded company(ies), ENAIRE may request from Official Bodies, (such as, for example, the National Institute of Aerospace Technology), the review of the certificates issued that are requested, with the aim of determining the quality of the measurement processes that are applied.
