The municipality of Eichstätt plans to construct a new fire station for the voluntary fire department at the "Freiwasser" site. The subject of the tender are specialist planning services for the technical equipment for the following system groups:

• KG 440 High-voltage systems

• KG 450 Telecommunications and information technology systems

• KG 460 Conveying systems

• KG 480 Building and system automation

The measure includes the construction of a fire station with a vehicle hall, training and administrative areas, workshops, breathing apparatus workshop, wash hall, storage areas and outdoor facilities. The planned gross floor area is approximately 2,170 m². Special requirements arise from the use as critical infrastructure with requirements for fail-safety, emergency power supply, alarm and communication systems, as well as fire department-specific operational processes. In particular, systems for emergency lighting, emergency power supply, structured data and communication networks, radio and alarm technology, fire alarm systems, as well as building and system technology controls are planned. An elevator system is also planned for the two-storey building section. For the emergency power supply, it should be examined whether this can also feed into the house during the service lives as part of regular maintenance. The technical building equipment should be designed to be functional, economical and low-maintenance overall. A robust technical standard with as simple and operationally safe building automation as possible ("Low-Tech" approach) is aimed for, as far as this is compatible with the requirements for operational safety and fire department technology. Ventilation systems should be minimized as far as possible. They should only be installed in rooms with potentially high humidity or sensitive technical systems, such as changing rooms, indoor toilets, breathing apparatus workshop, hose care room, locker room or fitness room. Due to the location at Freiwasser, requirements for flood and operational protection must be taken into account in the planning. Planned project schedule (preliminary):

The services of the specialist planning for technical equipment are awarded according to § 55 HOAI in stages. The order is placed for the performance phases 1-9 in stages. There is no entitlement to the award of further stages.
