89081 Ulm, Albert-Einstein-Allee 11, UL, University, M23, Renovation of Virology Diagnostics, VGV_TGA Engineering Services according to Part 4 Section 2 HOAI, The intention is to commission specialist planning services according to Part 4, Section 2 of the HOAI 2021, for the renovation of the Virology Diagnostics area at the University of Ulm in the fixed point M23 Level 03. The services are to be awarded in stages. The existing Virology Diagnostics area is located in the east wing of the university building M23 Level 03 and is currently used for the performance of diagnostic tests by the University Hospital of Ulm. The existing spatial and technical structures no longer meet the current requirements for modern laboratory and examination processes. The unused areas in the west wing of the building with approximately 450-500m² are to be gutted. This requires the consideration and development of existing building contaminants in cooperation with a hazardous materials expert. Fire protection must be enhanced by a fire-resistant wall towards the staircase. Following the renovation, the move from the east to the west wing can take place. The aim of the measure is the functional, technical and structural renewal of the laboratory areas taking into account the current requirements for diagnostic processes, occupational safety, hygiene, energy efficiency and the relevant legal and normative regulations. A future-proof and economical use for the University Hospital should be ensured by the construction measure. The areas are to be divided according to the room programme into laboratories, offices, storage, changing and cold rooms. Standard laboratories, which are typical for the work of the diagnostics department, are to be set up for the most part. For some laboratories, the higher standard S2 is necessary. In some cases, adjacent areas of the wing and level 02 are to be considered. The construction is scheduled for year 05/2028.
