The project involves constructing a new electrical boiler building for energy production needs. The building will house electrical boiler equipment along with associated systems. The subject of the procurement is the completion of a new approximately 400 m² electrical boiler building as a turnkey construction project. The building includes electrical boiler spaces, automation/electrical spaces, and WC spaces. The building will be constructed, for example, as a steel-framed modular building on concrete foundations. The load-bearing structures consist of steel columns, steel beams, concrete anchors, and load-bearing steel-reinforced concrete slabs. The facades will be constructed with insulated elements and the roof will be insulated with a roofing structure. The building will include a lift door, roof hatch, and internal stair connections. The roof will be constructed according to the structural drawings, for example, with a metal or bitumen roof. The foundations, slab thicknesses, thermal and moisture insulation, and other structural solutions will be implemented according to the structural drawings and foundation design report. The building's drying will be implemented with drainage and necessary rainwater management (note: foundations will be implemented in a separate contract). The subject of the procurement includes the building, frame, facade, roof, doors, stairs, roof hatch, and other construction and building services (LVISA) works required for the usability of the building. The subject of the procurement also includes mandatory safety elements such as guardrails for walkways. The electrical boiler and process equipment will be procured as separate deliveries. Additionally, the contract includes connecting the building to municipal technical systems (connection points will be built in the earthworks and foundation contract); water supply and sewers. The size of the building is approximately 400 m² based on preliminary plans. The final size and technical solutions will be refined during the detailed design phase. The target of the construction contract is to complete a usable building between 1.10.2026 and 31.1.2027. The subject of the procurement does NOT include earthworks, foundations, electrical boiler process equipment, equipment installations, and process piping and their commissioning.
