Romania – Laundry washing, dry-cleaning and drying machines – Echipamente pentru spălătorie

Through the procurement of laundry equipment, the contracting authority intends to address the identified needs within the hospital. The present project aims to modernise and equip the hospital laundry with new equipment to replace the existing ones, which are physically and morally worn out. The procurement is necessary to increase the efficiency of activities, improve working conditions, and ensure the processing of hospital linen under appropriate conditions of quality, hygiene, and safety. The need to acquire medical devices and products is given by the need statement submitted at the end of 2025, prepared by the hospital laundry, which must comply with the technical specifications in the present terms of reference. The need to acquire new equipment is determined by the advanced degree of physical and moral wear of the existing equipment, which presents frequent defects, high maintenance costs, and a reduced level of efficiency. The modernisation of the laundry will contribute to the increase in the quality of the services provided, the optimisation of the washing and disinfection process of hospital linen, the reduction of water, energy, and detergent consumption, as well as the assurance of compliance with hygiene standards and control of infections associated with medical care. Following the award procedure, framework agreements will be concluded with a maximum of 2 economic operators for the following lots: Lot 1 Washing machine with hygiene barrier, 22 kg capacity Lot 2 Washing machine with hygiene barrier, 35 kg capacity Lot 3 Washing machine with hygiene barrier, 70 kg capacity Lot 4 Sheet dryer, 45 kg capacity Lot 5 Sheet dryer, 60 kg capacity Lot 6 Calender-type ironing machine 2m Lot 7 Calender-type ironing machine with packaging system The number of days within which clarifications can be requested before the deadline for submission of tenders is 18 days. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification on the 11th day before the deadline for submission of tenders.
