The Gebäudemanagement Schleswig-Holstein AöR (GMSH) is a service provider for construction, management and procurement. In the legal form of an Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts (AöR), the GMSH is accounted for under commercial law. Its main tasks are the planning and implementation of construction projects for the State of Schleswig-Holstein, the Federal Government and other public administration bodies. The management of the properties of the State of Schleswig-Holstein and the central procurement for the State's offices. The GMSH has approximately 1,800 employees, of which approximately 110 are in an official capacity.

The scope of services includes the technical and specialist support as well as the further development of the existing SAP HCM on-premise system landscape. Due to new requirements for the processing of business processes, there are extended requirements for the SAP system. In addition, strategic, conceptual and technology-related consulting services with regard to the future alignment of the SAP HR application landscape are part of the task.

The system environment of the GMSH includes the following components:

• SAP HCM (in use since 2003) on ERP 6 with EHP 8 with DokuLink (OTEXBAS 2140_700);

• The HCM component EA-HRCDE – 0149 has release level 608 with SP-Level 0153 (as of 01/26);

• The digital personnel file Employee File Management by OpenText (in use since 2016) - EFM 2140_605;

• Fiori Front-End Server 6.0 with SP03 (the Fiori Frontend is also used for ERP);

• Form creation with Escriba (ongoing project);

• Planned migration to H4S4 with embedded Fiori in 2026.
