Romania – Road construction works – Proiectare si Executie "DRUM DE CONECTIVITATE ÎNTRE A8 ŞI DN 28 (VARIANTA DE OCOLIRE PODU ILOAIEI)", JUDEŢUL IAŞI

The contract concerns the design and execution of the investment project "Connectivity Road between A8 and DN 28 (Podu Iloaiei Bypass)", in Iași County. The project is strategic for decongesting traffic on DN 8 (E583), by creating a bypass to the south of Podu Iloaiei, ensuring smooth connectivity between the existing network and the future A8 motorway. The designed route will have a length of 4,377 meters, designed for a basic speed of 90 km/h. The road platform of 9.00 m includes a carriageway of 7.00 m (2 lanes x 3.50 m) and consolidated shoulders of 0.50 m. The main infrastructure works will include: road junctions, two roundabout intersections at the ends of the route for connection with DN 28; artworks: construction of a new bridge over the Bahlui River at km 3+900; intersections: arrangement of connections with county and local roads (DJ 282D, DC 89); drainage system: ditches, gutters and transverse culverts for rainwater drainage; equipment: public lighting in road junctions and complete signage. The components of the future contract: 1. Design: Preparation of the Technical Project (P.T.), the Execution Details (D.E.) and obtaining the building permit (D.T.A.C.). 2. Execution: Implementation of all earthworks, road structure, bridges and environmental protection. The investment is financed through non-repayable external funds under the Transport Programme (PT) 2021-2027 and from the state budget, with the final aim of improving traffic flow on the European corridor E583, increasing road safety and reducing pollution in the urban area of Podu Iloaiei. In accordance with the provisions of art. 160 of Law no. 98/2016, the deadlines are set as follows: Economic operators may request additional information/clarifications considered necessary, regarding the award documentation no later than 25 days before the deadline for submission of tenders, and the Contracting Authority will respond collectively to all requests received in a single deadline, set 12 days before the tender submission deadline. These deadlines have been correlated to ensure that economic operators have the necessary time to analyse the documentation and adapt their tenders in accordance with the clarifications provided by the Contracting Authority.
