Due to the increasing number of air conditioning units to be maintained in the EK, ÖBB TS Linz area, it is intended to procure an extension of climate chambers for the incoming inspection, maintenance and outgoing inspection of air conditioning units in the future. Furthermore, due to the air conditioning units currently installed in locomotives, a new type of refrigerant (R290) is to be maintained. Large quantities are expected to be maintained at the Linz plant. The scope of the tender includes the overall management of the project, the design of the plant conversion, delivery, unloading, installation, assembly, CE marking, acceptance and test operation, the provision of all permits required for operation, the preparation of the documentation. Comprehensive training of the operating personnel is also part of the contract. A 36-month full maintenance contract will be optionally tendered.
