The procurement concerns the detailed design of the new Hyväristönmäen wastewater treatment plant. The design assignment may be a comprehensive design or, alternatively, the design may be divided among several contractors. The contracting authority will decide on the possible division of the design after the negotiation phase. The detailed design is prepared using information modeling. The detailed design includes, as specified in more detail in the tender documents, in the preliminary scope, inter alia: - Design quality control and project management - Coordination with authorities and stakeholders required by the assignment - Tasks of the chief designer (tasks according to the Building Act 751/2023 and the Land Use and Building Act 895/1999) - Process design - Hydraulic design - Architectural and structural design - Structural design - Geotechnical and site design - Mechanical and piping design - Electrical design - Automation and instrumentation design - LVIA design - Area and traffic planning - Risk, fire safety, and other safety design - Tasks of the information modeling coordinator. The new wastewater treatment plant must be designed in all its aspects so that it forms a functional whole with the detailed design of the separately procured process contract (IFAS process). The plant must be designed so that the Hyväristönmäen wastewater treatment plant meets all the conditions specified in the environmental permit and other requirements and objectives set for the implementation of the project.
