Description

The Erdwärme Breisgau GmbH & Co. KG, a 100% subsidiary of Badenova Wärmeplus, plans to drill two geothermal deep wells (so-called geothermal doublet) from the site in Hartheim, in the municipality of Hartheim am Rhein, to extract hot thermal water, the energy content (geothermal energy) of which is to be used to provide geothermal heat for district and district heating networks. The two deep wells will extract the thermal water from a depth of approximately 3,300 m TVD (true vertical depth), use it thermally, and then reinject it into the same deep groundwater aquifer (thermal water reservoir). The invitation to tender published here includes the detailed engineering of the two deep wells (design planning LPH5), the basic services for the preparation of the award of contracts for drilling and services (LPH 6), the basic services for involvement in the award procedure (LPH 7), and the basic services for construction supervision and documentation (LPH 8).
