Germany – Engineering design services – Gemeinde Stralendorf - Neubau der Kindertagesstätte "Regenbogen"

The Municipality of Stralendorf (Owner/Client) plans to build a new Kindertagesstätte Regenbogen as a replacement for the existing facility as a standalone building on the directly adjacent property for 40 children (28 kindergarten and 12 nursery children). The planned new building aims to improve the care and framework conditions for the children and educators. The new building is planned to have 1 nursery area for 12 children and 2 kindergarten areas for 14 children each, allowing a total of 40 children to attend the facility in Stralendorf. The possibility of an extension for 8 children (1 mixed group) should be taken into account. The planned net floor area of 328 sqm corresponds to the maximum permissible area for the fee calculation. The site for the building is the existing property (Parcel 135/21, Plot 2) with an area of approx. 1,600 sqm, without affecting the existing open spaces and facilities of the current Kindertagesstätte. These will be retained and continue to be used as outdoor play areas. The local character of the municipality in this area is characterised by single-storey buildings with gable and hipped roofs, as well as outbuildings and extensions with different roof shapes. The planned single-storey building of the new Kindertagesstätte with the gently sloping gable roofs is intended to blend harmoniously into the village scene. The subject of this tender is engineering services according to HOAI 2021 Part 4 Specialised Planning, Section 1 Structural Design, Phases 1 - 4, Phases 5-6 optional (staged contract). The award of Stage 1 (Phases 1-4) will take place immediately, the award of Stage 2 (Phases 5-6) will take place after the approval of funding. There is no entitlement of the contractor to the award of Stage 2.
