The City of Helsinki's parking enforcement unit requests tenders for parking inspectors' uniforms. This tender call requests tenders for approximately 80 uniforms intended for the professional use of parking inspectors. The uniform must meet the requirements set out in the tender notice and its annexes, as well as the relevant legislation on uniforms. Parking inspectors work outdoors year-round, so the uniform must be suitable for all possible weather conditions, such as rain and snow, as well as intense sunshine. The uniform for parking inspectors includes clothing, and a more detailed description of their characteristics can be found in the tender notice and its annexes. One contract partner will be selected in the tender process. The estimated start date of the contract is autumn 2026, and the delivery of the first batch is planned for the winter of 2026-2027. The contract will be made for a fixed term of 5 years, after which the contract will continue to be in force indefinitely. The long-term contract aims to ensure the consistency and uniformity of the range of clothing used by parking inspectors. Companies participating in the tender must deliver material samples and model samples of some of the clothing offered to the procuring entity, so that the procuring entity can assess the compliance of the offered clothing with the requirements and carry out a quality comparison.
