The Service involves the experimentation of a "Port Goods Buffer" which materialises in an operational model for regularising and streamlining the traffic of intermodal transport units (UTIs) entering/leaving ports, to be implemented in suitably equipped, organised and managed extra-port areas to absorb peaks in goods traffic and rationalise the times of loading and unloading transits, with the aim of decongesting the infrastructure of the port hubs of the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority.
