Netherlands – Fuels – Brandstof t.b.v. Gemalen

The procurement requirement consists of the supply of diesel (B0 or HVO100) with a flexible contract pending the outcomes of the HVO100 pilot Wortman and the resilience project regarding the establishment of a strategic fuel reserve. For this tender, the contract value is primarily determined on the basis of the estimated quantity of fuel (in litres) to be taken, rather than an amount in euros. The reason for this is that fuel prices (Diesel B0 and HVO100) are volatile, and therefore an amount in euros without a price valid date or indexing/price mechanism is insufficiently stable to adequately specify the requirement. Based on a maximum duration of four (4) years, the estimated base volume of the Contract is approximately 440,000 litres of fuel. Including the optional one-off deliveries of a total of 52,000 litres and the optional annual deliveries of 20,000 litres per year, the total potential volume of the Contract is approximately 572,000 litres of fuel.
