The ekom21 - Kommunales Gebietsrechenzentrum Hessen is a public-law entity under the Hessian Data Processing Network Act (DV-VerbundG). The aim of the procurement procedure is to conclude framework agreements for the procurement of firewall systems (security) in various product classes and product variants, as well as additional supplementary contractual services. From 01.01.2028, the Kommunale Informationsverarbeitung Thüringen GmbH, whose co-shareholders are the districts, cities, municipalities, administrative communities and special-purpose associations in the federal state of Thüringen, each including their legally independent and dependent facilities and associations and other forms of cooperation, are entitled to purchase in this procurement procedure.
