The company Smart Port Sicilia Occidentale s.r.l. within the framework of the award, using the public-private partnership formula, of the works and services contract, aimed at the "smart port" development of the areas of the ports of Palermo, Trapani, Termini Imerese and Porto Empedocle (CIG 8322907820 – CUP i83C20000010003) signed with this Port Authority, has submitted a formal concession application (AdSP protocol n. 24585/26) for a duration of 22.5 years, to install solar panels on the roofs of the buildings located at the port of Palermo, for an area of 6,730 square meters.
