The assignment is carried out as a single comprehensive consultancy tender, covering both renovations, extensions, establishment of specialist facilities and adaptation of outdoor areas at both locations. Pindstrupskolen and Mørke Skole face a combined capacity and renovation task with interdependent phases. A group of students with multiple functional impairments is moved from Pindstrupskole to Mørke Skole, which requires special renovations and possibly an extension. Temporary pavilions in Pindstrup can only be removed when the permanent solution in Mørke is ready. New buildings will then be constructed in Pindstrup to consolidate the remaining functions of the special school, including students from Tøstrup. The project also includes improved outdoor areas, access, parking and staff facilities at both schools. Renovations at Mørke Skole involve moving and updating specialist facilities and are considered the first phase of a comprehensive upgrade. A central prerequisite is a calm and direct transition for a vulnerable group of students. User involvement through structured processes is an integrated part of the task.
