The municipality of Renquishausen plans the new construction of a 4-group kindergarten in the town center, adjacent to the community center. Within the community center, former school rooms will no longer be needed and are available for the expansion of the fire department and for use by the new kindergarten. The connection of the existing structure and expansion is to provide users with a modern kindergarten and synergies with the existing uses. After a completed VgV negotiation procedure with participation competition and solution proposal, the building design and the outdoor facilities have already been awarded. The aim of the municipality of Renquishausen is a 4-group kindergarten that meets current pedagogical standards as a hybrid timber construction. The property is located in a topographically challenging hillside location. The two-story new building uses the height development for ground-level access to both floors. The new building is connected via a single-story intermediate building with a roof terrace to the existing community hall.
