Netherlands – Ships and boats – 31199153: Bouw en levering 2 MPV-50 Vaartuigen

In the project MPV-50 (Multi Purpose Vessels), two new vessels will be built and delivered, with the main task of marking. Additionally, the vessels will be deployed for incident response, ecological measurement, and supply of platforms, and the coastguard has a right of call on the two new vessels. The vessels will be equipped with a sustainable power supply, based on dual fuel methanol engines and a battery pack. With the commissioning of these two new vessels, the three existing vessels Rotterdam, Terschelling and Frans Naerebout will be replaced. Within this contract, the contractor will design, build and deliver the vessels. See short description.
