Germany – Research and development consultancy services – Projektträgerschaft „Medizintechnik und Gesundheitstechnologien“ des Bundesministeriums für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR)

The aim of the tender is to commission a project executor (PE) to support the relevant specialist departments of the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) in the implementation of funding measures in the field of medical technology, both technically and administratively, in all phases of project funding. This includes, in particular, the advice to interested parties and applicants, the examination of applications and the approval or rejection of grants/appropriations, including the evaluation by expert committees, as well as the supervision during the term until the verification of the use of funds. The support of the contracting authority (CA) includes, in addition to the further development of funding priorities (e.g. by observing national, European and international funding measures), the dissemination of the results through specialist communication. Furthermore, the administrative and technical supervision and support of projects and the involved partners, which are selected and funded within the framework of already ongoing measures, are tasks of the contractor (CO). This also includes the monitoring and communication of activities and results of such measures as well as the support of transfer activities. Furthermore, the CO supports the CA technically in the preparation of subject-specific contributions and in answering relevant inquiries of any kind (of the German Bundestag, the media, the public, etc.).
