The Danish Health Data Authority is an agency under the Ministry of Health and the Interior. The Danish Health Data Authority is responsible for developing and operating central digital solutions in the healthcare sector, as well as for collecting, managing and making available national health data and registries. Furthermore, the Danish Health Data Authority coordinates work on health data, digitalisation and information security across the Danish healthcare sector. To support the Danish Health Data Authority's activities, the Danish Health Data Authority hereby offers 3 identical contracts for the operation, development, maintenance and further development of national health IT. The three suppliers, who are awarded a contract, will each be responsible for 1 or more more specifically defined areas of responsibility. The distribution of areas of responsibility is described in more detail in the Contract. The three suppliers must enter into an agile multi-supplier setup based on scrum principles, and will therefore have to work closely with each other and the Danish Health Data Authority to carry out the tasks covered by the contract. This means that each supplier will be responsible for a number of mixed teams under the defined area of responsibility, consisting of consultants from all three suppliers, and there will therefore be consultants from all three suppliers under each area of responsibility. The aim of this collaboration model is to ensure knowledge sharing during the execution with a view to minimising knowledge and production loss. The collaboration model and the systematic knowledge sharing also encourage continuous optimisation of work processes as well as mutual learning across both suppliers and the customer. Through joint meetings, cross-functional sparring and open exchange of information, an environment is created where best practices are identified and spread, and where continuous improvement becomes a natural part of the daily work. This aims to strengthen both the quality of the deliveries and the overall value creation for the Danish Health Data Authority.
