Germany – Damage or loss insurance services – Maschinen-Kasko-Versicherung (MAK)

The subject of the procurement is an all-risk insurance on a new value basis for mobile and transportable plants and equipment of the contracting authority. Essentially, these are mobile work machines and equipment used to meet various requirements in railway operations. These include, among others, two-way vehicles, transport equipment, power generators, etc. – each including accessories. The total insurance sum amounts to approximately 45 million EUR (according to the machinery list as of 01.01.2026) and comprises approximately 370 machines and equipment. The average value per machine is approximately 110,000 EUR. The current highest individual value (= insurance sum) is 1,841 million EUR for a two-way equipment carrier. Detailed values can be found in the machinery list, which will be provided with the confidential documents. The excess is 5,000 EUR per claim.
