The new construction of the Kindertagesstätte Ludwigshöhviertel is located in the north of the Bildungscampus at Granitstraße in the newly developed urban quarter of Ludwigshöhviertel. The elongated, two-storey building has a gross floor area (BGF) of approximately 1,800 sqm. The kindergarten, with its six group rooms and the kindergarten garden, faces south towards the existing tree stock on the site. The building is planned as a timber construction with cross-laminated timber walls and cross-laminated timber ceilings. The building's heat supply is provided by an air-water heat pump system.
