The City of Salon (hereinafter the contracting entity / purchaser) invites tenders for the procurement of personal protective equipment, protective clothing and footwear, in accordance with this invitation to tender and its annexes. The subject of the procurement is personal protective equipment, protective clothing, safety footwear and other footwear, primarily for use in catering and cleaning services. The subject of the procurement is described in more detail in this invitation to tender. Protective clothing refers to clothing that protects the user from dirt, changing temperature conditions and occupational safety risks. Protective clothing has specific requirements related to, among other things, visible warning requirements and temperature conditions. Safety footwear refers to footwear that protects the user from injuries to the feet and slipping. Personal protective equipment refers to devices, accessories and clothing that protect against accidents or illness at work. The contract period for the procurement is two years, i.e. for the years 2026–2027. In addition, the purchaser reserves the right to extend the contract under the original terms for two one-year extension options for the years 2028 and 2029. By option is meant the possibility to extend the contract under the original terms. The purchaser decides on the use and duration of the option separately. The procurement will be implemented as a framework agreement, the operating model of which is described in the tender's section on Procurement Procedure.
