CNCF CFR SA owns in its own rolling stock park the laboratory wagons for checking the geometry of the track, namely the wagons with the circulation numbers 80539750500-1 and 80539750503-5, which annually, in accordance with the instructions in force, carry out dynamic measurements of the parameters of the track geometry on the entire railway network administered by C.N.C.F. ,,CFR” S.A. Wagons of the UWSMC series. In order to carry out dynamic measurements, these wagons must be fit for circulation and, to this end, in accordance with the instructions in force, they are periodically subjected to a cycle of revisions and repairs. The service of periodic repair of the laboratory wagons for checking the geometry of the track is carried out by repair units holding a certificate of conformity for maintenance functions, for the performance of periodic repairs for laboratory wagons which come from passenger wagons (UWSMC series) with Minden-Deutz bogie and KE-GPR brake, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 779/2019, from which the necessary competence for the performance of the R.P. service for this type of wagons results. Within this type of repair, the works must ensure, from a qualitative point of view, until the next planned repair, the functioning and normal operation of the laboratory wagons, in full safety conditions of circulation. After the periodic repair, these wagons will be fit for circulation and will be able to be attached to the composition of passenger trains for the performance of dynamic measurements of the geometric parameters of the track in safe circulation conditions.
