CNCF CFR SA owns the following track geometry measurement vehicles in its rolling stock park: laboratory wagons 80539750500-1 and 80539750503-5, which annually, in accordance with the instructions in force, perform dynamic measurements of the track geometry parameters on the entire railway network administered by C.N.C.F. ,,CFR” S.A. These are UWSMC series wagons. To perform dynamic measurements, these wagons must be fit for circulation, and to this end, in accordance with the instructions in force, they are periodically subjected to a cycle of inspections and repairs. In accordance with "Order no. 1359/2012, for the amendment and completion of the Railway Normative Rolling Stock. Types of planned inspections and repairs. Time or mileage norms for the performance of planned inspections and repairs, approved by the Order of the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure no. 315/2011", the periodic repair of the laboratory wagons is carried out every 4 years. The service of periodic repair of the laboratory wagons for verifying the track geometry is carried out by repair units holding a certificate of conformity for maintenance functions, for the performance of periodic repairs for laboratory wagons derived from passenger wagons (UWSMC series) with Minden-Deutz bogies and KE-GPR brakes, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 779/2019, from which the necessary competence for the performance of the R.P. service for this type of wagons results. Within this type of repair, the works must ensure, from a qualitative point of view, until the next planned repair, the operation and normal operation of the laboratory wagons, in full safety conditions of circulation. After the periodic repair, these wagons will be fit for circulation and can be attached to the composition of passenger trains to perform dynamic measurements of the geometric parameters of the track in safe circulation conditions.
