Description

The subject of the procurement procedure is the commissioning of planning services for the building and interior design sector according to § 34 HOAI for phases 6 to 9. As the trustee for the redevelopment of the municipality of Lensahn, GOS Gesellschaft für Ortsentwicklung und Stadterneuerung mbH has been commissioned to prepare, implement and manage the overall urban development measure "Zukunftsgestaltung Daseinsvorsorge". A key project within the redevelopment measure is the new construction of the library, including further public services such as the VHS, social service facilities and the local youth club. The municipality aims to create, with the new building, a public cultural and leisure facility that, by bundling several offers under one roof, has high appeal for citizens of all age groups and, at the same time, enables the institutions housed there to achieve a high quality of service through synergies in space use. In the course of an architectural design competition with a landscape design element, a planning proposal for the new library building and the architects for the building and landscape design were selected. The competition winner, the architectural firm Büro MATTER, Berlin, was commissioned with the building design. Due to the impending dissolution of the architectural firm Büro MATTER, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement after completion of phase 5. This procurement procedure is for the continuation of the planning services from phase 6 onwards.
