Netherlands – Surface work for roads – Groot onderhoud elementenverharding (>200m2)

The condition of the road network in The Hague is assessed every two years through inspections in accordance with a nationwide standard methodology. The results of these inspections are recorded in the GISIB management system. Based on the data recorded therein, the municipality selects road sections for which a maintenance measure has been indicated. The selected maintenance measures are then further evaluated and tested. Based on this, larger, planned further sub-tasks are formulated with a size of more than 200 m². These further sub-tasks are carried out in the following period. During the preparation and programming of these works, coordination takes place with other internal clients, including sewerage management. Furthermore, at the request of other internal clients, small-scale reconstruction works can be included in the further sub-tasks.
