The subject of this public procurement procedure is the provision of maintenance, service and support for the Open-E JovianDSS storage system, which has the following architecture: 2x active-passive processing nodes - Maguay eXpertServer, with the following configuration: • 2x Intel Xeon CPU E5-2623 v4 @ 2.60GHz • 256 GB RAM • 2x SSD 240 GB Mirror • 8x Ethernet interface 1/10 Gb 2x disk enclosures - HGST G460-J-12 4U 60 Bay Storage Enclosure – 110 disks (HDD 8 TB, SSD 400 GB, SSD 480 GB) 2x Open-E JovianDSS software – perpetual license 1024 TB (active support expired). The hardware equipment is located in the secondary ADR headquarters situated at 22 Italiană Street, Sector 2, Bucharest. Bidders will propose, within the technical proposal, one of the following hardware maintenance service variants, both of which must include the mandatory renewal of software support according to point 3.3 lit. b) of the CdS: • Standard 8x5 variant – corrective maintenance at the hardware equipment level, with a response time of NBD (Next Business Day); • Premium 24x7 variant – premium maintenance and support for the storage system, including the possibility of replacing the existing storage controllers with next-generation models, with extended response time and availability. The Contracting Authority will evaluate the technical proposals submitted by reference to the minimum mandatory requirements set out in point 3.3 of the CdS, regardless of the technical variant proposed. Minimum mandatory requirements for the provision of the requested services a) Preventive and corrective maintenance will include the following types of interventions, without being limited to them: • Checking the state of volumes, checking the state of network and SAS connections; • Checking hardware and software logs; • Hardware and software configurations agreed with the beneficiary; • Corrective intervention services, remediation of hardware and software problems related to the storage units; • Carrying out interventions remotely (remote) and on-site; • Ensuring the NBD – Next Business Day response time, with a dedicated person; • Possibility of replacing/upgrading hardware components (e.g. storage controllers) with next-generation equipment, with the prior agreement of the Contracting Authority, without additional costs for the existing software licenses. b) Renewal of Open-E JovianDSS support: 2x renewals, 1 year, for a minimum of 512 TB per node; • Support type: minimum Standard – Email, Telephone (Premium 24x7 support is also accepted, if offered); • Includes Software Major Updates; • Response time: o Severity 1: 4h (e.g. problems that make the system completely unavailable: lack of access to data on the storage protocols, the system has failed, data alteration); o Severity 2: 8h (e.g. newly installed hardware is not recognized by the Open-E JovianDSS operating system, data replication issues, but data intact); o Severity 3: 24h (questions related to software functionalities, hardware compatibility etc.).
