For the Masterplan Westraven, based on a UAV specification, the Rijkskantoor, used by Rijkswaterstaat, is being renovated in phases. The core task is the integral redesign and optimisation of the work environment, including logistics, workplace mix, and spatial layout. Supporting facilities such as catering facilities, meeting, presentation, and meeting rooms are both qualitatively and quantitatively made adequate. This European non-open procedure is a re-tender. In October 2025, this project assignment was already published via a competitive dialogue through TenderNed (see reference 546767) and withdrawn in June 2026. The assignment consists of the phased realisation and coordination of the entire work in main contract. Overview general characteristics Area: - current: circa 53,700 m2 bvo - after assignment: circa 55,000 m2 bvo Layout: - high-rise: 23 floors (excluding basement and roof construction) - low-rise: 5 wings each with 4 floors (excluding roof construction) Disciplines: construction costs, interior construction, (mechanical) engineering, building physics, circularity, indoor landscaping, sustainability, security, fire safety, construction, installation technology (electrical and ICT), quality assurance, system engineering, safety & health, HVAC. Special feature: during the works, the maintenance of the operational parts of the Westraven complex falls under the responsibility of the contracted maintenance contractors. During the realisation, coordination is necessary for, among other things, temporary situations, (partial) commissionings and (impact of) major works. A target price is used, which is based on a carefully prepared estimate prior to the tender, including market prices. This target price will be communicated to the selected candidates during the registration phase.
