Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Zukunft Bau - Operationalisierung DAS-Klimaanpassungsindikatoren im Handlungsfeld Gebäude

The research project described here aims to fulfil the legal obligations arising from the Federal Climate Adaptation Act (KAnG) for the area of responsibility of the BMWSB in the field of buildings. The project results must be prepared in such a way that they can be directly incorporated into the update of the German Adaptation Strategy to Climate Change (DAS) 2028. The overall task is based on the completed research project "DASmmZ" for the development of response indicators in the field of buildings. It is divided into six work packages with different focuses. The central element is the one-time operationalisation of six previously developed core indicators. This involves finalising the methodology, collecting, processing and evaluating all required data, and presenting the results in factsheets and providing them as raw and analysed data. Another work package involves the evaluation and revision of existing measures and instruments of the climate adaptation strategy in the field of buildings. Both contents are checked and meaningfully supplemented and further developed. Additionally, management and quality assurance tasks are carried out, including the development of a workflow for the future automated evaluation and presentation of raw data as well as data delivery as part of the DAS reporting to BMUKN and UBA. An overarching work package bundles coordinating and supporting tasks. Reporting forms its own package for the structured presentation of the results. Optionally, data and map visualisation, for example in a dashboard, as well as the one-time operationalisation of two additional indicators are also provided.
