Description

The system will be used to conduct condensation and nucleation experiments with various materials introduced into the plasma in powder form. It should be noted that the introduction of chemical elements into the plasma in the form of species dissolved in a solvent will also be a technical option. The powders will be rapidly vaporized in the plasma and then condensed as the vapour is moved away from the plasma. During this process, cooling allows for homogeneous nucleation and condensation of nanoparticles, which can be collected directly from the vapour along a thermal gradient, without any prior interaction with the housing. Below the plasma, there will be a chamber used to collect the particles nucleated in the vapour derived from the cooling of the plasma. Nucleation will occur without interaction with the chamber's internal walls. It will be possible to collect particles generated at different temperatures within the chamber.
