Description

The AWO Bezirksverband Schwaben e.V. is the operator of the Sophie-Scholl-Schule at Joseph-Haydn-Str. 14, 86633 Neuburg an der Donau. The Sophie-Scholl-Schule is a state-approved private special school with a focus on intellectual development. The number of students has steadily increased in recent years. Currently, 150 students and 24 SVE children attend the school. The school cannot be expanded at the current location, which is why the AWO is planning a new building for the school with a Heilpädagogische Tagesstätte (HPT), rooms for child and youth services, as well as for administration and the transport service on an adjacent plot of land. The plot of land designated for this purpose is located in Neuburg an der Donau on Münchener Str. and has a total area of approximately 33,760 m². The AWO has acquired 18,000 m² of this. The school will be accessed via Münchener Str. The plot itself is partially developed, and the preparation of a land-use plan has been commissioned by the AWO and is being carried out in close coordination with the city of Neuburg, which generally supports the project. In the area of the construction site is the archaeological site D-1-7233-0331 from the Roman Imperial period. Due to this, archaeological services are part of the requirements and guidelines of the monument protection permit issued by the lower monument protection authority of the district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen. According to the monument protection permit, all areas where earthworks are necessary must be archaeologically investigated. The permit will be made available to the contractor(s) (awarded in lots) by the project promoter AWO Bezirksverband Schwaben e.V. before the start of the archaeological measures. The subject of this invitation to tender is the commissioning of an archaeological specialist company or two archaeological specialist companies (awarded in lots) to carry out the archaeological measures required according to the monument protection permit (topsoil removal and archaeological excavations). The construction site is divided into two lots due to various construction-related measures as follows: - Lot 1: approx. 6,000 m², excavated basement (earth excavation up to 6 m depth), building site areas incl. construction road. - Lot 2: approx. 6,000 m², excavation with base plate (earth excavation up to approx. 1.5 m depth), building site areas incl. construction road.
