For various operations on Defence material, Defence has pneumatic tools, with specific maintenance requirements attached to them. These include: - assembly and cutting tools - other production aids such as: - screwdrivers with a fixed torque value. - kit mixing equipment, paint spraying equipment. A portion of these tools is used for high-quality maintenance of aircraft. A programme of requirements describes the requirements for inspection and repair (preventive and corrective maintenance) of the pneumatic tools. The maintenance need to which this scope relates is: - Preventive maintenance including inspection - periodic - Corrective maintenance: - Based on findings from preventive maintenance - Based on defects / reports This need relates only to maintenance, not to procurement.
