Germany – Roof-covering work – Karl-Rehbein-Schule Dep II, Abbruch Haus den Handwerks und Erweiterungsbau Karl-Rehbein-Schule - Dachdecker

The Karl-Rehbein School (KRS) has been using rooms at the Pestalozzi School as a branch for several years. To create space for the future expansion of the primary school, a new building for the upper level of the Karl-Rehbein School is to be constructed on a part of the Fronhof site. The "House of Crafts" was completely demolished as part of the planned expansion to realise the new building.

Scope of work for roofing and waterproofing:

- Waterproofing of ground floor slab;

- Application of a bituminous vapour barrier;

- Roof construction / green roof and roof terrace: Construction of a roof consisting of mineral wool insulation and bitumen waterproofing with extensive roof greening and partial terraces;

- Eaves covering: Aluminium eaves covering including substructure;

- Creation of a new roof drainage: Creation of a new roof drainage system consisting of main and emergency drainage;

- Sealing of building-related roof structures: Sealing of building-related roof structures with liquid plastic for waterproofing;

- Green roof with PV system (substructure);

- Sealing of facades + windows: Sealing of floor-to-ceiling windows / facades and door elements with liquid plastic.
