Bulgaria – Cleaning and sanitation services in urban or rural areas, and related services – Зимно поддържане на общинска пътна мрежа и улична мрежа села, община Ловеч 2026-2028 г.

The contract aims to ensure normal passability and safe operation of municipal and local roads during winter conditions and is carried out in accordance with Ordinance No. RD-02-20-19 of 12.11.2012 for maintenance and current repair of roads, the applicable technical rules and standards, the instructions and guidelines of the API, and the applicable legal framework.

1. Level of winter maintenance:

- Requirements for the operational condition of the carriageway during snow removal

- Allowable depth of snow cover during snowfall up to 10 cm

- Requirements for the operational condition of the carriageway after snow removal and anti-icing activities

- The presence of a compacted layer on the road surface is allowed along the entire length of the road in areas with an uneven surface of the compacted snow layer

- Conditions of the carriageway surface – rough road surface in sections with difficult driving conditions

- Maximum time for implementing measures to combat winter slipperiness on the road – 8 hours

2. Activities:

- Clearing snow from the road surface of varying width

- Clearing snowdrifts from the berms

- Clearing snowdrifts with a depth of over 60 cm

- Roughening the road surface

- Treating the road surface with grit

The specialized equipment must be equipped with GPS tracking devices with the ability to track the route and the time of stay. The contractor is obligated to provide access to the GPS system from the workplaces of the employees carrying out the contract performance control.
