Germany – Electrical fitting work – Elektroinstallationen BT B Gymnasium II - Erweiterung Schulzentrum Steinlach-Wiesaz in Dußlingen

On the site of the Steinlach-Wiesaz school centre on the south-eastern outskirts of Dusslingen, the existing community school and parts of the Gymnasium are being renovated and expanded with three new school buildings. As part of the construction measure, the access and courtyard areas as well as the bus stop are also being redesigned. In the first construction phase, the new construction of the community school was completed. In the currently second construction phase, the demolition of the northern specialist classroom building with garden shed and subsequent new construction of the specialist classroom building of the Karl von Frisch Gymnasium (Bauteil B) and the new construction of the connecting building to the existing Bauteil A of the Gymnasium are planned. /// Existing: The Gymnasium consists of four two-storey buildings (BT A, BT B, BT C and BT D/E) and a single-storey garden shed. The individual buildings are made in modular construction and their layouts are based on a grid of isosceles triangles, which are joined together in a honeycomb pattern. /// The two southern classroom buildings C and D/E and the northern specialist classroom building B are grouped around the central access, administration and auditorium building A. The single-storey garden shed is docked to the specialist classroom building B in the area of its north-western facade corner. /// New construction: The planned new specialist classroom building BT B of the Gymnasium consists of a two-storey rectangular main building with a green roof, which is connected to the existing administration and auditorium building A of the Gymnasium via a two-storey connecting corridor and a new two-storey extension on the south-east facade. The specialist classrooms are arranged on all four sides around the outer facades of both floors, thus forming an inner courtyard with a separate WC core. The specialist classroom new building consists of a ground floor and a first floor, as well as a partial basement, in which only the technical control centre is housed. The specialist classroom new building, incl. the externally four-sided surrounding escape balcony on the 1st floor, extends from south-west to north-east over a width of approx. 40.50 m and from south-east to north-west a length of approx. 35.50 m.
