Description

The following is sought with this call for tender: A main contractor, acting as the principal contractor as defined by law. The tasks include construction and civil engineering works, as well as, inter alia, site management tasks including the management tasks set out in the information security agreement. The contract type is a divided contract, where subcontracts are subordinate to the main contract. The contract annex mentions the client's purchases and separate works, which are subordinate to the main contract and whose site services are included in the construction contract. In the AXEL new construction project, the central fire station in Vaasan Klemettilä is being implemented. The project involves the construction of an approximately 15,400 m2 three-storey new building on the site, as well as two separate garage buildings. Two new vehicle entrances and an emergency traffic entrance are being built on the site. The courtyard areas accommodate parking for staff and customers, a logistics yard, and asphalt areas for emergency traffic and training activities. The new building will accommodate a training and ladder tower, approximately 25 meters high. A fuel distribution point will also be located on the site. Project scope and requirements: The fire station building (RAK 1) is 6,060 brm2, 31,933 m3, garage (RAK 2) 1,780 brm2, 7,145 m3, garage (RAK 3) 1,570 brm2, 5,480 m3, with a roof of 1,630 m2, as well as a training tower. The building's fire class is P1. The indoor air class is determined on a room-by-room basis, being either S2 (rooms generally) or S3. The "Healthy Home" and "Dry Chain 10" operating models, as well as the "clean fire station" concept, are followed. Cleanliness management is monitored during the construction of the project. The project is implemented as a security-classified project, where the design information is kept confidential (JulkL (612/1999) 24.1 §:n 7-8 k) and is handled as TL IV and site practices follow the project's information security agreement. Target timetable: - Contractor purchases 08-10/2026. - Construction starts 11/2026. - The building is ready for acceptance Q1/2028. The project's objectives are: - spaces and technology that best support operations - cost-effective maintenance and lifecycle - energy-efficient building - good indoor air and safe working environment
