The present supplies contract concerns the provision of chemical de-icers for the winter treatment of the cycling, road and motorway networks of the Brussels-Capital Region on behalf of the Brussels Regional Public Service, the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company (STIB) and the municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region. By order, the present specification means a partial order placed with the contractor by the head of the department. This must amount to a minimum, in bulk, of 15 tonnes or a multiple of 15 tonnes, in bags to 1 pallet consisting of approximately 49 bags of 25 kg or a multiple of pallets, and in big bags from 1 big bag of 1 tonne. All orders placed during the validity period of this contract are taken into account. By delivery, each vehicle, lorry or boat load is meant. Several delivery methods are planned. The contract, divided into 4 (four) lots, has the following objectives: Lot 1: supply of refined sodium chloride. Lot 2: supply of sodium chloride with spread granulometry. Lot 3: supply of calcium chloride (77%) and of brine at 33% by weight of calcium chloride. Lot 4: supply of a 50% by weight solution of potassium acetate. Training in French and Dutch on the use of chemical de-icers for snow removal for 15 users is also part of Lot 1 of the present contract and will be included in the offer amount.
