Switzerland – Engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works – KW Wolfenschiessen - Gesamtplaner für Projektierung, Ausschreibung und Realisierung der Erneuerung

Within the framework of the KW Wolfenschiessen Concession and Renewal (KUE) project, the scope of services of the bidder for the Renewal subproject includes the complete provision of planning services as a general planner for the comprehensive renewal of the Wolfenschiessen power plant in the SIA phases of design, tendering and implementation (31, 32, 33, 41, 51, 52 and 53). The contractor assumes the role of the general planner and responsible project manager for the Renewal subproject. They are responsible for the planning, design and coordination of all disciplines and specialists required for project processing and act as the central point of contact for EWN. The general planner prepares the project documents, reports, plans, and tender documents and ensures the technical, organizational and timely coordination of all project participants. They accompany the project through all commissioned SIA phases from design to tendering to implementation. The general planner supports EWN in the awarding of the works, coordinates the contractors involved, leads the specialist construction supervision and monitors the contract-compliant implementation of the project. Furthermore, they support the client in change and claim management, as well as in commissioning, acceptance and project handover. For the comprehensive renewal of the KWW, the application of the BIM method in the SIA phases of design, tendering and implementation is planned. The BIM model serves as the central information basis for planning, tendering, execution and later operation of the plant. The models are to be created and maintained in such a way that they can be used after project completion as a digital plant model for plant documentation, maintenance management, as well as for future modifications and renewals. The services to be provided are defined in Section 2.1 Project Description and Section 2.2 Service Requirements. Information on the Wolfenschiessen power plant and the recently completed pre-study on the renewal of the KWW is contained in Section 3 Annexes.
