The municipality of Nümbrecht aims to create a sustainable and high-performing broadband or gigabit network (NGA network) in the structurally underserved areas of the municipality in the long term. To this end, it has already submitted funding applications for part of the municipal area in the years 2016 and 2019 and in each case concluded a grant agreement with a network operator under the viability gap funding model.
