Heat consumption meters and their components procurement

BKM BUDAPESTI KÖZMŰVEK Nonprofit Zrt. FŐTÁV Division, within its service area, carries out billing heat consumption measurements in accordance with legal requirements – as part of public service activities – in the heat centers of the district heating systems. The heat consumption meter must also be suitable for measuring cooling energy. In the case of legally binding measurements, BKM Nonprofit Zrt. is obligated to conduct an official heat consumption measurement, and this measurement serves as the basis for settlement with users.

To equip and maintain the measuring points, BKM Nonprofit Zrt. intends to conduct a public procurement procedure for the procurement of heat consumption meters, their components, and spare parts. The subject of the current public procurement procedure is the heat consumption meters, which are composed of sub-units, namely separately installable flow meters, computing units (integrators), and temperature sensor pairs, as well as the connectors and additional modules needed for installation. The Invitation to Tender requires delivery of these and the support services necessary for their operation.

The listed requirements aim to ensure that the heat consumption meters to be delivered comply with the metrological legal requirements and to guarantee their full integration into the Invitation to Tender's operational and maintenance processes for heat consumption meters.
