The purpose of this procurement is to continue the subscription for the Eclipse catalogue - an implemented and used web-based library information system. Eclipse provides public online access to the bibliographic records of the library fund, visualisation of availability, work with user profiles and exchange of bibliographic and fund data with external information systems, including EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS). The available functionality, supported standards and integration capabilities of the system are as follows:

1. Main components: public electronic catalogue module (OPAC); bibliographic records module; copies and availability module; thematic collections module; "Newly added" module; module for generating and exporting bibliographic citations; module for quick and advanced search; module for exchange and export of metadata; module for integration with external systems; administrative module for reports.

2. Main functionalities: Eclipse provides the main functions of an electronic library catalogue and provides public web access to the library's bibliographic data: quick search in the catalogue; advanced search by various bibliographic criteria; sorting and filtering of results; visualisation of the full bibliographic record; visualisation of information about the copies; visualisation of location, signature, inventory number and status; work with different types of library documents; display of newly added records; organisation of content in collections; generation of bibliographic citations; access via a standard internet browser. The catalogue stores, processes and visualises structured bibliographic data for the library fund. Eclipse supports the description, search and visualisation of various types of library and information resources. The system supports search by main bibliographic and fund indicators, including advanced search. It supports user profiles for access to personalised library services. The login profiles are linked to the institutional Microsoft 365 environment. Eclipse provides export and exchange of bibliographic records and fund information through standardised formats and protocols. The system processes the data from the catalogue and provides it in a form suitable for external systems. The public interface of Eclipse provides web access to the electronic catalogue and is intended for students, teachers, doctoral students, employees and external users. It provides secure access to administrative functions and user rights management. The public part of the catalogue provides access only to the information intended for visualisation to users. Maintenance includes the operation of the system, technical support and assistance in integrations and data exchange. Contract duration - The contract comes into force on 26.11.2026 and has a duration of one year. Within 24 (twenty-four) hours from the entry into force of the contract, the Contractor must provide the Beneficiary with the library software supporting the online catalogue for the needs of the University Library - UNS. Subscription service period – online, daily. The Beneficiary pays the amount of the contract once, within 30 (thirty) days, after the entry into force of the contract, signing of the acceptance protocol for the activity for providing the Beneficiary with the library software supporting the online catalogue for the needs of the University Library - UNS and submission of the invoice - original.
