Description

The measure "Renovation of 1970s Extension as part of the Comprehensive Renovation of Hohenstaufen-Gymnasium in Bad Wimpfen" involves an existing building from the 1970s with an auditorium, classrooms, and an attached canteen. The existing extension was built around 1977 as an expansion of the former monastery building. In 2005, this was extended by the addition of a canteen. The building consists of 3 storeys (1st floor - basement) in the southwest and 2 above-ground storeys in the eastern area. The building is in building class 5. It is an unregulated special structure. The building has an irregular floor plan and is connected to the monastery building at ground level via the auditorium. In the entrance area, there is a basement auditorium, which acts as a link between the eastern area and the half-storey offset floors between ground and first floor, the canteen located on the ground floor in the southwest area, and the classrooms located on the 1st floor. The building remains largely the same in terms of its volume and use. There will be a demolition of the external sanitary unit and the dismantling/replacement of the window and roof surfaces. The steel structure of the canteen will be rebuilt. In the interior, there will be clearances, dismantling, dismantling and demolition work as part of the renovation.
